One of my many mods, but still one of my favorites is the battery-less apron

GypsyR and Black68coupe like this.

I have never "made" anything, I just modify the things around me into useful items with abilities that were GIVEN to me.

My favorite will be when I pick it up today or tomorrow after having a new heater core installed and heater box rebuilt with all new diaphragms & hoses ready to install the air under the hood when I bring it home. The temp right now is 26* last week it never got above freezing till Friday.

#1 is the Procar Scat Rally seats it made it feel like your riding in a new car.

I think the AOD, no wait, the 331 stroker engine, no wait, the AAW rewire kit, wait maybe the Shelby ten spokes, hold it no, the CAA cold air kit, naw, the trunk mounted battery.

Duh, there's the Electron cloth top with folding glass, darn no again, the Power windows and remote door and trunk locks, gosh nope, the custom leather covered 95 Fox body seats.

Oh almost forgot the custom Autometer gauges, but, it could be the custom billet hood hinges, then maybe be the LED conversion or the recently completed EPAS!

Oh damn, too many to pick a favourite, I love 'em all but mostly, more than anything, I thoroughly enjoyed doing 99% of the work myself.

Kelly, a link to your console pics?
Here's one pic:

And here's the link to the build thread: Check out the custom console we're building!

Console has removable cupholders which is why you see it with and without in some pictures. Since that thread was last updated I've finished out the coin pocket with some black trim since a bit of the console frame was exposed.

I swapped out the engine in my 1969, I went from a 302 to a 351C. I have had several 351W's in various Mustangs over the years so I decided it was time to try a 351C, I really like it and am happy I did the swap.

Thanks for posting that console build thread, Kelly. I hadn't gotten to read through it before. You and your dad did a great job. Perfect mix of utility and style.

I'm not an expert, but I play one on the internet.

A Currie 9" with 4:11 posi gears. There's just something about launching from a stop sign... sideways!!
Being able to do it again in 3rd gear is kinda fun too!!

Suspension upgrades for me. The car rides and handles so much better with the Borgeson PS and SOT coil overs at all 4 corners.

Most satisfying on the '66 GT350's was the vintage Paxton. On the '65 K code, it was the set of 4 IDA Weber carbs.

Curious if Hydroboost brakes are better than power brakes. Whats the benefits of Hydroboost?
