Cool Whats your favorite upgrade/addition/mod on your car?

Curious to what all of your favorite mod/upgrade/addition is that you did to your car?

I'll start, I recently added a 8" Bazooka Bass tube in the trunk. Its small, fits in the corner and is easily removable. I didn't want a lot of bass, but now I can jam out cruising around town and not hear my flowmaster 40's.

Whats your's?

The first mod, switching from 2v Intake/carb to a 4V intake and 600CFM carb. Noticed a big gain in HP.

Shelby-Arning Drop. Hands down the most satisfying improvement I have done to my 69 Mach 1. Major improvement to the suspension and handeling. Simple to do, no cost involved and also improves the look. Brian

T56 Magnum... could be that it's just because it's one of the newest mods tho.

Simple stuff is favorite.
Swapped the 200 out in favor of a 351W in the '67.
Swapped the 2.3 out in favor of a 5.0 in the '86.
The '69 has yet to be molested. Since I have a '69 351W and that's what it's supposed to have, I don't believe it will get an engine swap. Maybe a T5 will be the favorite mod for it.

I would have to say upgrading the old worn out stock suspension with rollerized components, Arning Drop, Bilstein shocks, etc... However, I didn't really get to test the new suspension until I added some HP. That's when the real smiles came on so I guess it took two upgrades.

I can't pick just one ,the car was a real turd when I got it
Having solid floors is kinda nice
Oh and brakes that work ,yeah that's good
a suspension that you can't feel wrap up and twist the car sideways is handy
A t-5 and 3.40 TracLoc does wonders as well
Oh and an engine that has oil pressure helps keep things moving

Glass in the vert top to replace plastic.


Back in the day it was 6x9 Jensons with a good under the dash 8-Track.

Last winter I got rid of my red interior and went to black. I love the Corso Feroce leather wrapped steering wheel and the 2013 Mustang seats...soo much better than the old vinyl seats!! Next will hopefully be a 347...

So far, changing from an 8" with 2.83's to a 9" with 3.70 traction lock ...... but I just did the cheater UCAs, adjustable structural, roller perches and Arning drop but I haven't aligned it yet, so this may change

Mine is pulling out the C4 and putting in a Toploader. After that is upgrading the sound system, but hiding the electronics with the factory AM radio still in place.
