Got the car all back together after putting in the roller clutch pedal. Was going to take it for a test spin and a buddy noticed that the brake lights weren't coming on.
I pulled off the connector leading to the switch and shorted the wires and the lights came on so the problem is that the switch isn't making contact when I step on the brake pedal.
Is there a special way the switch is supposed to go on the pedal?
It doesn't seem that the master cylinder push rod is compressing the switch. I am using the same switch as before and it was working but I did add a plastic bushing over the brake pedal post to take up room between the post and the master cylinder push rod.
Thanks in advance.
