Since I didn't want to completely derail the othe fuel pump thread like most of us were doing.... I'll ask in a separate post.. :D
I was wondering what GPH you guys would suggest on a carter fuel pump?
I'm gonna order a carter today as I've heard and read their reliability is significantly better than Holley.
I have a 331 stroker, with milled TFS heads, mild cam, 1.6's, rpm intake and a 670 Holley.

Is the carter 72gph ok for this?

Should be just fine. I had a Walbro 180 lph for quite some time and it was perfect for my car. Now have a Walbro 255 lph (67 gph) and I think it may circulate fuel a bit fast, but who knows. Either way it is absolutely more than adequate for a "normal" level of horsepower.

Cool hanks for the info! Ordered the carter and it'll be here tomorrow. Just need to find time to redo the fuel system...
