Adjustable Transmission cross-member for tranny swap?

I am looking for a good adjustable crossmember for swaping a transmission into a 71 Mustang. Any ideas? I came across one from David Striblings Restoration but I cannot find out how to order one and they don't answer their phones lol.

What transmission are you installing? Correctly-sized crossmembers are available.

Amateur restorer. Well, sometimes I have been paid for it. But not right now.

A Tremec tko 500. I purchase the crossmember off eBay and the bolt pattern doesn't seem to match up

I ended up using a C6 crossmember and cutting a notch where the TKO case hit the crossmember. The trans mount on the TKO is in the stock location. Did you get one specifically for the TKO? The T5 trans mount is in a different location, maybe you have a T5 crossmember?

I got this one http://m.ebay.com/itm/67-68-69-70-71...614?nav=SEARCH

It's made specifically for the tko the problem I ran into is the crossmember and my transmission mount didn't line up. It is about an inch off.

Then it's defective, or you were sent the wrong one. Contact the seller. Or ebay.
