You couldn't get a red and white interior until late 65, when the Deluxe "pony" interior came out. And the interior red was NOT Poppy Red. Ever.
Typically, Poppy Red cars had either a black or white interior. The black was all black, while the white was typically white with red appointments, which meant everything was white, except the dash pad and carpet were bright red. Alternatively, it could be white with black appointments.

My '67 coupe was special ordered with Poppy Red paint. You could do that back in the day. Interior is Parchment with black carpet and looks great with the Poppy Red paint.
