I need help quick!! Anyone installed there own top/or any experts out there? The sun is out and the new top I have had for two years in the box looks like it may get put on today, this will be my first attempt at doing a top.I have watched and made notes of the Cal.Mustang Video tape, have several books handy and am set to go.Now the surprise, while spreading everything out to warm up in sun, I discovered upon removing my new well liner from box, that it is in two pieces , is this right for a 65-66? I have installed the new liners in 67-68's before but they were one piece jobs.I have the new springs for the bottom of well liner as well. The next questions has to do with the top pads, I bought the original style canvas type, it was a 4 piece set, two top pads and then the pieces for rear on sides, from what I have seen in video and various books, the back pieces can be left out on a 65-66? They just look like pains to install. And one final question, I am using just the plain plastic back curtain window, it doesn't have a canvas border on bottom, the instalation on the video tape was of a glass window, I am assuming that with the plastic curtain, the staples just go through the curtain itself, as there is no canvas on bottom?
