Is there anyone or anywhere i can go to have my whole build sheet decoded? I mean, I know the basics, like build date(14C), and Disctrict[24(Jacksonville)], Which is all in the top line, but what about the rest? What does it mean? Take the console/ H.D. Seat/ Rec. Seat section. I know I have a factory consle, but does the #8 In the little box mean anything? Here's all my info, - the basics.

Car Line - Z

Springs - (front)P, (rear)W

Shocks - F

Radiator - X

Driveshaft - M

Axle - 2 3 (yes they are separate, but in the same wide box)

Tires - Size C, Type 1

H.D. Seat/ Rec. Seat/ Console - 8

Heater/ Air Cond./(ilegible) - 5

(ilegible)/ (Ilegible)/ PR Ant./ Stereo TP - 2

Tint Glass/ Washer/ Wiper - 2

Mirror/ Visibility Group - 6

Battery/ Headlamp CVR/ Dome Lamp - 1

Whl Cvr/ End Cvr - 4

Speed-O-Gear - B

Pt. Stripe/ Dlx Trim/ Opt Mats - 2

Speedo Calib Metric Odometer Rental - 6

I think thats about it, aside from the stuff I already know. Sorry about the length. What do these #'s and letters mean? Help would be a Good Thing, if it is there to be given. Thanks for even reading this far, even if you don't reply. Thanks.

Oh yeah, and there is a part i havent found what it means anywhere, it says Type Order - 7. Thanx.

Car Line - Z = Mustang

Springs - (front)P, (rear)W = color codes Pink, White

Shocks - F

Radiator - X Extra Cooling? -- a S. W. A. G. since you have AC

Driveshaft - M

Axle - 2 3 ? -- not 100% sure, but I think that the 3 means option #2; the 2 is the door plate code for the axle (2.83:1 conventional). This is another S. W. A. G.

Tires - Size C, Type 1 = 695-14, White sidewalls, Rayon belted

H.D. Seat/ Rec. Seat/ Console - 8 = Short Console

Heater/ Air Cond./(ilegible) - 5 = Fordaire Conditioning
/ /Imm. Blk. Htr.

(ilegible)/ (Ilegible)/ PR Ant./ Stereo TP - 2 AM Radio
Radio / Speakers / /

Tint Glass/ Washer/ Wiper - 2 are you sure it's a 2

Mirror/ Visibility Group - 6 Visibility Group

Battery/ Headlamp CVR/ Dome Lamp - 1 optional battery

Whl Cvr/ End Cvr - 4 wire wheel covers

Speed-O-Gear - B

Pt. Stripe/ Dlx Trim/ Opt Mats - 2 White accent stripes

Speedo Calib Metric Odometer Rental - 6

Jeez - this sounds like my car! The B on the Speedo Gear refers to which gear to put on the cable that plugs in the transmission.
Also, my driveshaft has M on it. When I had it out of the car, I noticed it had an M cast on one end of it. Think it's a identifier to tell the boys on the line which shaft to install.

I had thought that about the speedo gear thing after i read quite a few articles about people who had speedo gear problems. One guys speedo was off by i think 17 MPH! I wonder how many teath it had...But thats for 14 inch wheels. I wonder how many teeth i would need to get an acurate reading on the speedo with 15's...Anyone?
