Today the machine shop called and said that the engine for the coupe would be ready to pick up on friday. It will be a long couple days to finish putting it together and get it in the car. The joy of having a 351 in a 66. Can wait intil I can drive it again this 2 weeks I have been going through serious withdraws.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Picked up my engine last week. Now it sits all bagged up and on the kitchen floor. Can't wait 'till I've got the engine bay repainted and get everything back in.
If you don't mind my asking, how much did the machine shop charge? I was thinking about rebuilding my 1967 289 but just to bore out the block is over $1000 in Japan!
