Hi all,

Recently my 1966 Mustang ended up with a cracked drivers side exhaust manifold. I'm looking for a replacement and found one at Memory Lane here in california. They are asking $75 for it and I wanted to see if this is a good price?

As a side note, I'd like to replace my whole exhaust system in the near future to something that looks a bit nicer and sounds better (and dual exhaust) Any suggestions?

I guess the big thing for me is that i live about 20 miles from memory lane, so there isnt 15 bucks in shipping being spent.

Hmm..

Still seems high. Have you checked with your local VMF'rs to see what they might have??

Check ebay, or other sources. I may even have one laying around. At the swap meet, if they are $5 or less, and I am near the gate, I might buy it. I would be happey to get $20 for one on ebay.

$75 for the part is way high, IMHO

I have two pairs laying around that I use for wheel chocks. Stock manifolds should be available for practically nothing - think how many must have been taken off cars in favor of headers. You should be able to get one from someone on the forum for a lot less than $75.

Good luck,

$75.00 is a way too high. If you don't need the CA Smog as other have said you should be able to get a set for less then $50.

They are asking $75 for it
That's about $65 more than they're worth. I used to have a pair, and had a heck of a time giving them away.
