Still looking for an answer on this.

Sorry for the frustration. We are looking into this issue right now.

Re: Javascript error - Can you tell me when/where this is happening to you? Also which browser and operating systems are you using?

Re: Log offs - Please check the "Cookies" setting in your browser. You may be disallowing cookies, which will cause the problem you describe. Set the value to "Allow all Cookies" at first to see if this fixes the problem for you.

All members... are you missing important PMs as a result of the migration? Please see this thread:

to see how you may be able to help out.

Thanks... Don

Any progress to report w/ this issue ??

I give up. I thought I had an idea why every thread was getting marked read even in sub forums that I never visited. I was wrong and I don't want to play anymore.

I'll be back someday and hopefully this issue will be resolved by then. Later.

Same here. Maybe I'll come back when certain things change. Need to get out more and see other places.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed or not, but is it possible to go to a private topic format vice private message? The private topic was essentially a private a thread, where multiple messages showed up on the same topic.

I recently requested to get my PM's back, and I did, but there were over 100 when I really only had about 8 or 10 topics. Now to sort through the old information I have to open each message individually rather than just open the topic and see the whole conversation.

I guess it comes down to a PM being used as a forum email versus a PT being used as a limited access forum thread. Personally, I like the PT better.

Is this a feature that we can add back in? I think this would also alleviate some of the concern over how many PMs people can have at one time. I'd rather be able to have 10 private topics with multiple posts per topic than 50 total messages.

I changed my password in the edit password/email section. I logged in using the new password and checked the remember me box. I was logged on with no problem. The next time I attempted to log on without manually entering the password, it was rejected. I went back and used my new password again and no problem. Checked the remember me box. Next time, same problem. It appears that it only remembers some old password, not the correct one.

Because there are two different software paltofrms involved, we can't transfer a feature from one to another... as much as that would be a great idea.

The closest thing to your "private thread" is the ongoing quoting of the previous content in a PM. After about 8 back-and-forths, though, it starts getting pretty hard to follow. IIRC, it also starts to object once the thread reaches 5000 characters.

Hey Don, is there a way to bring back the "Birthday Cake" to indicate it's someone's birthday? I'd imagine there' s a vBulletin plugin out there somewhere that would be able to display a little birthday cake image next to someone's username when it's their birthday.

Not sure if this has been covered, or it's just me, but I can't seem to search the Parts for sale section in advanced search?

Can I get my old post numbers and member status back? I wasn't able to log on to VMF as "lastang" after the upgrade(?) and I never received a response to my requests for a new password.
I've since reregistered as LAstang. It's not too big of a deal but if I do have any time left on my membership (I think I was a bronze member), then I would appreciate that much being corrected.

Thanks,
Paul Morgan (lastang)
