I don't THINK that some avatars are being automatically resized...

For instance, when I view THIS THREAD the 2nd poster has an ~800 x 500 avatar that appears full-size, skewing the entire page. And here's another example

Minor stuff - thanks for all the work to make the change happen!

Yes. Unfortunately, VBulletin does not support a different display name and User name.

Since there is only one name, the one you choose will be the one that is shown on screen AND the one that you will have to login with.

That thread is fixed. Notice that you can click on the bar above the pic and it makes it full size. Nice idea.

Yes you are absolutely correct. Most avatars were automatically resized. However, some have been uploaded as .gifs when they are actually .jpg files. And the system cannot deal with them automatically because of the invalid file format. Please keep reporting these oversized avatars and I will manually push through the processing.

Thanks
Richard

As you can see, we can all now state times correctly without a rude smilie face getting in the way of the information.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention

Another - also note that his signature image does not resize. I've got my user CP set to 320 and 100 for the image size limits...

Well I have two questions, on the old version of VMF I had a lot of "favorite" threads, not threads I subscribed to, are those all gone?

And also, when I click on a post it doesn't redirect me to the latest post I haven't read, I have to go through the whole thread to see where I left off. Is this an option for me to change this?

Thanks

To get to the most recent thread, you have to click on the little down arrow looking thing to the left of the topic.

What about all the quick buttons at the top of the window when you are creating or editing a new post? I just went to edit one of my posts and the buttons for hyperlinks, pictures, text color/bold/italic, etc are all gone. Maybe this is hidden in the control panel somewhere?

UserCP - Edit Options - at the bottom, change the "message editor interface" type.

Edit: After looking around a bit more, it looks like all my PMs are gone too.
Same problem, new software is using my login as my screen name. They were different prior to "upgrade"

All my PMs are gone. I'm not a PC guru. Postings now exceed my screen, need to use slide bar. Also how can I readily see there are new replies to old topic?

Thanks for the upgrades!

My user profile name was Slim. My log in (real) name is peterson. Since the upgrade my profile name is now peterson No good. I'm known by Slim! I tried editing on the user control panel, can't edit profile name!
