Default Powdercoating headlight buckets?

I noticed how rusty my headlight buckets are when I pulled one of my lights the other day. Is there anything about them that would make them a bad candidate for sandblasting/powdercoating? Would POR be a better candidate?

Powder coating should be great for them. As long as there aren't any holes from rustout.

I do PC as a hobby/side business and I think it would be great, but getting a color/gloss match might be pretty difficult.

If the part is pitted before it is powder coated it will be pitted after. Either find unpitted or take some JB Weld & use it like body filler to fill the pits after it is blasted to remove the rust, regular body filler will NOT hold up to the heat of powder coating.

I'm not to worried if it is pitted after being coated since you can't see the part. I just want to protect it as best I can against future rust.
