Well TurdusMerula, it appears ROTELLA T 15W-40 would be a good choice for some motorcycles and car gasoline engines. It might be a little heavy viscosity for cold winters in a car engine. My Harley Davidson motorcycle calls for 20W-50, but I use a synthetic 15W-50 by Mobil as it claims 1200ppm ZDDP.

Odometer shows 19XXX miles, but who knows how many rounds it has spinned? My "broker" said, that looking car's general condition it's somewhat possible it's on a second round, but who knows for sure... It's rather plainjane. 289 2V/C4/8'' Centerconsole and that's about it. But it should be really solid and it's totally unmolested aside from the wheels. (and I ordered TorqueThrusts anyway It has even thermactorsystem in it's place. It's not very mediasexy from everyones point of view particularly in the US, but we like it. And I wanted a solid V8 "daily driver" for the summer weekends, so we can go for a ride as a family with my wife and our (now) year and half old son.

I think that I worry too much. In the end, it's 42 years old engine and todays oilspecs were unheard-of in the sixties. I think that anything goes compared to those oils that were formulated three years before I was born...

That 67 Coupe looks nice, it will be a nice sunday driving car for you & your family. I had a 68 Coupe for 18 years & loved it.
