Default '68 Vert Interior Quarter Trim Question

I ordered new interior quarter trim pieces that attach to the metal windows regulator covers and have no idea how they attach. I was told to use the original hardware, but have no original hardware. Do I just randomly screw these things into the metal covers or is there a proper way to attach these? Any help would be appreciated.

Are yours abs plastic, or fiberglass?

You need to install the metal piece on the car, line up the fiberglass piece so it is almost flush with the windlace molding on the front edge, and near flush to the inside of the boot stowage area. Then, drill holes on the tabs and screw them together. A few trigger clamps will help a lot.

Thanks Brian. I have the ABS plastic ones. Are you talking about the tabs on the inside of the trim?
By the way... the seats you sold me look great. I'll post a picture.

Your '68 looks to be coming along great!

I hope you are planning to put the upholstery over the new interior quarters. I would also chemically strip the metal part, so that the stamped grain of the part will show.

there should be angle tabs on the back side of the abs panel, and they line up with holes on the metal panel. If they're not there, you need to add them. If you decide to replace them, I'd buy the fiberglass ones.
