Trans (Original C4) is back together and in the car. It was working fine when pulled.
I installed a new torque converter, pump seal, and B&M Shift Kit.
Trans doesn't leak! First time in a long time.
But I've got a problem somewhere. Pressing the throttle in any gear moves the car forward. I can't definitely find Neutral at all. I adjusted the intermediate band (nut near the shift linkage) per the B&M Instructions. I did not touch the low/reverse adjuster.
Could I have something in the
VB too tight? The notched bar on the
VB fit perfectly back with the shifter arm, and seemed to have free movement.
Any bright ideas? I'm stumped and don't want to admit defeat by having it towed to a trans shop. I'm so close!
