1) attractive color on your car.
2) It might be shown in the Fomoco accessory manual. But, it also might be shown in the owners manual.

Default I have two...

But I don't know who owns the originals. They were posted by Dustyrelics some years back. I'd love to give credit where it's due.

Good luck. I've been involved in Mustangs since the 60's, and I've never seen a 68 FB with the defogger.

Really. The coupe defrosters are rare enough!

My brother in-law has one mounted in his '67 Shelby. I could ask if need be for pic. Something he added 20 plus years ago.

I'll have to add this to the "things they need to make in re-pop" list.

I don't think I've seen 10 of those, and they were always available. Funny how something that's been required by law for decades wasn't even a popular option, suddenly became mandatory. I've noticed they don't get used much.

The 71-73 coupe and fastback were available with a real electrified glass defroster, not just a defog blower. I've seen maybe a dozen coupes, and only three fastbacks. The coupe electric glass is available new, BTW.

Does Anyone know if the panel is being reproduced? I would like to put it in my 67 FB I got it in El Paso Tx in 1994. The FB came with alot of options: Upper/Lower Console, clock, 6000 rpm Tach, brush aluminium, deluxe speaker grill, wood steering wheel,am/fm radio. The driver seat had the seat frame shield on the driver side which is complete with the stainless steel trim but is missing on the passenger seat. I found the build sheet and nothing was indicated for the defogger. I wish the first owner had gone a little further and ordered that defogger up

I too am interested in adding this option. I will likely get an additional back panel and use a dremel to cut it out once I have the defroster and ducting in hand. Looks like an interesting mod and could definitely be a neat feature at the shows.

It wasn't available in 67. The steel panel below the glass in 67 had no openings for the blower. You'd have to cut those large slots.

Yeah, already marked up my panel(s) as per the pictures that were posted on here. I won't cut until I get the blower assy and ducting.
