So awesome to see it outside. love that pic of Kurt too, looks just like the Bullitt picture.
I agree now that it's outside that the A/C condenser needs to be black.
also how do you guys like the sound of the pypes exhaust? I just bought the same pypes exhaust x pipes 2.5', and installed some mid length headers. mine have the street pro mufflers, great sound. and just a tiny bit louder than before.
I think they sound great, the video is not good sound. How does yours sound at 60 mph?
Thank You!
Pat

It actually started snowing right when I was about half way done installing it all. so by the time it was all good to go, there was about an inch of snow, so I drove home at 5 - 10 mph the whole way (only like 1 mile away) and its been snowing on and off ever since, and the roads are still snowy and wet, so I haven't driven it since. but it sounded awesome at idle, and I noticed right when I touched the gas, the interior drone sound was gone (unlike the other mustangs in my garage) so I like that I'm able to talk to the person next to me while driving. It's cool that its like loud outside of the car, without being loud on the inside.

Wow, just, wow. She's beautiful. And she sounds amazing! Kurt is going to have so much fun driving that. Especially if he drives it to school. Your's looks a thousand times better than mine and I got dozens of people wanting to buy it or trade it. But still, congratz!
WOW, that is fantastic! Your son will really enjoy that car! I still remember getting my son his 71 hardtop when he was almost 15. He's 21 now and in college and we put the car away for a future restoration, as soon as he gets his future chemical engr. job, lol. Maybe we can have another round of father-son fun with that old Mustang. I'm sure you two will really enjoy working on that old horse together. Those times will make great memories.
And I may love Mustangs, but that Charger quite seriously gives me butterflies in my stomach. Should I ever come into a big windfall of cash, I will 100% be picking up a 68/69 Charger in triple black.

WOW, what an exciting day! The car looks amazing, and that's understating it. Definitely paint the AC condenser black. What all else is left?

Hmm! Might have to get your setup in my pony at some point in time... can't hear anything but the car when in the car. Drone is pretty absurd but not as bad as Flowmasters. Though the drone's pretty good for me because then I don't have to listen to whoever's next to me anyways

Such a great build and informative thread. You guys did a awesome job. Kurt seems to have grown like 2 ft since the first pics. Man, time flys by. Oh BTW, Since Kurt has a open bay in his shop now..... just saying :-)
Like many others, I too have enjoyed following this restoration. The end result looks great.
I do have one (small) point of criticism, which is the aluminum radiator that you can see so clearly through the grille. In my opinion, it would look nicer if everything was flat black behind the grille.

That car should NEVER see a school parking lot! Heck, I won't park mine in many lots and it is not nearly as nice. I said it before in this thread, the car is gorgeous, so nice I'd be hesitant to park it just about anywhere but in the garage.
