Last I heard, the fellow in OZ who makes them (and sells thru the parts houses and Ebay) has stopped making it. There are still some for the 6 cyl cars at most places I've been told. I'd call MU to see if that is true though. Failing that, keep an eye on Ebay, sooner or later one is bound to turnup. I got mine last April and it looks nice inthe panel.

The last time I checked with MU, about a month ago, I was told they have been discontinued.

That's right.

Before the Australian mini-tach was available, we used Jeep CJ replacement tachs. Correct size, similar markings, and IIRC, about $60. The downside is they didn't just bolt in in 30 minutes like the Aussie part.

Just my luck. Late to the party. I was going to go this route too.

Well, on the other hand, this kit came out recently, so you can now do a conversion that looks stock.

No Aussie Mini Tach

Is the 'Jeep CJ replacement tach' the only alternative to have in the Mustang 1967 clock's position?

I suppose any aftermarket tach the right size would fit, but the Jeep replacement item styling is nearly perfect.

Yeah, if you have a 6 cylinder car and have converted to white face gauges, there you go. Otherwise, the mini tach is gone.

The Jeep CJ tach worked great. Here's mine after installation. Lettering style almost matched the stock lettering perfectly (very close, not exact).
