1969 Boss 429 barn find on "What's my car worth?"

I can't seemt o find any video of it or much info, but i was watching HD Theater last night (Directv channel 281), and on the show "What's my car worth?", a gentleman brought his barn find 69' Boss 429. He found it somewhere in northern california, and i think he said he paid $100k for it. I twas pretty much all complete.

But long story short, why don't i have this guys luck? I mean come on. The things i would do to have that car...

As the experts said on the show, "you could get underwater quick trying to restore this car". Maybe you ARE LUCKY you didn't get the chance to buy that!

Personally I think he'd be lucky to find someone with $50K for that rust bucket.

Even in this economy, the B9 in prime restored condition is selling north of $200k. If the car is complete, you'd be hard put to spend your way upside down in that.

Amateur restorer. Well, sometimes I have been paid for it. But not right now.
