Default Mustangs To Fear one-piece headliner

I'm going to order a Mustangs To Fear one-piece headliner for my coupe, but the shipping charge is half again as much as the headliner itself. I've been told that up to 3 headliners can be shipped in the same box for perhaps just a little more cost. I'd love to find someone or two close-by that needs one so we can split the shipping. Keep in mind, I'm in San Jose and you'd have to pick it up here with a truck or van (or plan on installing it in the parking lot here at work).

Here's a link if you're not familiar with this:

Mustangs to Fear

It's currently available for '65-'68 coupes and '67-'68 fastbacks.

It DOES seem neat. Not sure if it's worth that coin to me, and there is the whole 'fitment' problem. Less than impressed with the fiberglass I got from them.. But who knows!

Johnny, there are no " fitment problems " with our head liners, you shouldn't make comments like that unless you actually installed one. We also have no record of ever selling you any of our fiberglass. On your post you stated you bought your fiberglass from Stang Aholics not us. We are the only company in the world that guarantees that if you are not happy with the fit ship it back and WE WILL PAY THE FREIGHT. Rich.

Rich, Welcome aboard (I see it's your 1st post).

I really look forward to getting on to my next project (68 Fastback) as soon as I wrap up the 68 convertible. I plan to use several of your MTF products and am wondering if you have any deals for buying more items together? I'd be looking at a nose, flares, rockers in fiberglass, as well as lighting, exhaust, interior parts, and exterior trim... it adds up to quite alot of $$$$, so a package deal would be very helpful. Looking to get started in the spring.

Will you offer any VMF discounts to all the fine folks here on VMF (well except for Johnny K of course)? DOH LOL!

Again, thanks for joining the community

Lee

Looks like the '65-'66 fastback version is now ready.

I've got a regular one sitting on the shelf waiting to be put in, but I'm waiting to see what the coupe one looks like and costs. At 6'2", an extra inch or two, without cutting the seat pans, would be nice.

I was pretty interested untill I saw the price, $700 is hard to swallow (for me anyway).

$200 for one for a Fox body, or $100 for an orriginal

good luck, guess it will cater to the high end restomod folks

anyone else making a one piece headliner for a '67 coupe with overhead console?

How much exactly is shipping on one of these headliners for a '65 coupe shipped to Montrose PA, 18801?

I never stated there WERE fitment problems. I am just stating a fact that there is usually fitment problems with FG or ABS parts.

Perhaps I bought from Stangaholics. I can't really remember. I'll let you do the digging for it. If so, I apologize.

Send me a decklid pro-bono and I'll let the world know if it fits perfectly without any modifications!

Johnny, we are the ones that make the spoiler to fit your steel deck lid, that's why there are no fitment issues with ours. We have made the abs headliner to where it can be slightly trim if necessary, but as of to date no one has. And yes we did check our records and found no sale to you. No hard feelings.

We just got done with the 65-68 coupe headliners, we are working on the 65-66 fastback next. We have a lot of calls for the 69-70 ones also.Freight is higher on the coupe headliners because the box is huge, it only weighs 21 pounds. Give us your zip code and we will figure the cost.

We had a customer install one in a 67 fastback with the roll bar welded in, but he also had the windshield out.

I'm guessing, since the product is made from ABS, that it's a case of "any color you like as long as it's black..." Is this correct? And if so, has anyone tried to paint/dye one? Asking because I (will have) a red interior in my car...
