Default headers for 67

using a 1988 mustang gt engine and auto trans in my 67 coupe. i picked a shelby side exhaust. i was going to use y headers but i keep seeing u cant use them on auto trans. anyone run into this problem?

Can't use TRi-Ys with an auto?...That's new to me?

And what is a "Shelby side exhaust"? Never heard of it.
