I had a customer call earlier this week and tell me his 93 year old mother passed away and they needed to sell her car( As per the estate and his sister) . So I told him to bring it in( Price was no discussed on the phone). He brought in a 65 poppy red, A code factory disc brake/ PS/ console car with a black top. I guess his dad bought the car from an employee in 1970 and the car was always garage kept. The passenger fender was replaced in the 80's due to an accident and had one respray. There is NO rust under the top. Interiors original and steering/brakes/suspension were replaced around 10 years ago. I got it for 4K with a clean title! I told him the car was worth double that at least and his only condition of the sale was I dont resell it and if I do give him first option to rebuy.
Thanks guys! My girlfriend saw it today and started hinting she wanted it. I told her NO carbureted cars due to her work not allowing her to be late ect. ( People that dont know these cars dont understand 1 week out of the month DO NOT RUN for some reason.)
