Default CHECK OUT WHAT i just brought home

well i have been talking to the owner for 7 or 8 months now in an attempt to buy this car and out of the blue earlier this week i received a call from them and they told me to come pick it up the deal had been made.

i bought the car from the original owners daughter who drove it in high school. car is titled in original owners name still. the car is a 66 gt that was stripped completely down and then repainted and undercoated. owner is suppose to give me the original window sticker. car is still in pieces but it appears all the parts are there. car is an "A" code 4 speed with a/c power steering and front disc brakes and pony interior--BUT it all needs to be put back together. car was painted in a dark green with ivy gold pony interior.
thanks to chris stage(vamustang) for his help in walking me through confirmation that the car is indeed a gt while we spoke on the phone.

here are a few pics

my son is thrilled at this find and we cannot wait to start putting it back together once we inventory what new parts it needs

Just curious, how did they get plates for the car without registering the title?

I wish my car was a "Have to put it all together" car. It appears you have no rusted panels to replace. And if you can use that paint job, you're WAY ahead of most project car.

Congrats!

yet another great find, there have been a few lately. Good luck, enjoy, and look forward to progress report with pictures of course. It will be a show stopper when it's done. Dudley

thanks for all the compliments on the car, now the fun begins, unpacking all the parts to see what is missing and what needs to be replaced and then start putting it together
