Default What do padded sunvisor look like for a 65

Ive seen them listed as a stand alone option for a 65 but not sure what they look like?

The 66-73 all had them. The standard visor in early cars was cardboard. No kidding. Very rare today.

Well that clears things up. My sunvisors are a little worn and I couldn't find any of the replacements that look like them. Mine are still the original cardboard.

Wow, standard convertible sunvisors are exceedingly rare today. My '65 got the cardboard retired for padded visors clear back in 1970. I seem to recall folks on one of the concours boards trying to track some down for samples. I certainly wouldn't toss them!

Even though the cardboard visors look cheap (which they were) I still like the looks of them better than the padded visors.

Hear we go! I have original cardboard visors and headliner in perfect shape in my 65 built jan 31 dearborn. 23,000 mile original you learn something new every day!

Note, the convertible visors are just a bit different than the others. When you reorder specify the convertible type. Mine also had the cardboard ones until about 6 years ago.
