Default looking for a mini tach for 68 fastback..

Hello all, this is my first post and really need help finding a black face mini tachometer to replace my clock gauge on my 1968 fastback. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

they dont carry the black face anymore - I ordered on and they called back saying that its not made ..only the white face is available.

Another solution is to use a simple 2.5 mini tach with minor modification - the one from Jeep looks nice (CJ). I used a generic one from Orielly's...

The mini-tach is no longer manufactured. You can adapt a Jeep CJ tach to the hole. There is also a conversion tach, full-size, that installs as did the factory tach, but adapted for the standard cluster. Apparently, a competitor is about to introduce a similar full-size unit, giving us two sources for the conversion. Using one in a 68 would require adding a 67 "GASOLINE" gauge, as well.

Jeep CJ tach installed-works great!

Amateur restorer. Well, sometimes I have been paid for it. But not right now.
