Need pics of 4-speed speedo cable routing...please
Finally got the correct speedo cable for my 65 and got the hole in the floorboard drilled today. Installed the cable from below and routed it up to the instrument cluster.
Now all I need is to know the proper routing under the car. I think I have all of the parts I need to properly attach it but since my car came with a 3-speed originally and did not have any speedo cable at all when I bought it...need a visual on how it should be routed.
You need a 7/8" hole about 1" from the firewall on the curved part of the trans tunnel in the 1 o'clock position from the gas pdeal
Thanks for the reply. I have already done that part...I need pictures of how it is properly routed under the car from where it comes out the hole to the trans connection on the right side of the car.
It goes through the trans tunnel where the trans tunnel meets the firewall near the drivers' right little toe. It clips to the RH toe board where the passenger's left toes are, and to the right side of the trans crossmember just before entering the transmission. All of these clips are available. The Carpenter cable is the correct length (very few are even close) and has the factory-correct foam seal for the hole in the floor
Thanks for the reply. Have done quite a bit of that so far with no luck. So either my search prowess is lacking (very possible) or I have not found photos that are any help.

Thanks for replying. I have all the clips...got them from VCM. The things I was hoping to see in pictures is the over/under positioning around the exhaust pipes and the transmission crossmember.
