after a long debate with myself, which i am proud of saying there was only one person talking, i decided i am going to live with for now this one inch ride height differance for now and move into a coil over setup later in life.
looking at this ron morris coild over setup for now.
so i decide i am going to drop this car off for a front end alignment. find one local to me shop willing to tackle the job. take the known specs from the internet with me and drive over.
a 1 hour alignment turns into a 10 hours wait. the poor guy worked for about 5.5 total hours on the car. got it as "close" as he could i was told and the car had to sit overnight.
picked it up this am and first i noticed was a loud suspension pop. this was before i was out of the p-lot even.
got about 2 miles from the shop and i hear it again. pull into my driveway and start wonder wtf is going on.
do a lil bit of looking and realize of the four upper control arm nuts holding them to the car none of them are tight. in fact, there loose enough that the shims have fallen out of there position.
needless to say when the "manager" stated that it was because of aftermarket parts being installed i blew a fuse.
why is it that i cant seem to bring myself to trust any shop these days....
Get a refund for your troubles, you owe them nothing, they're lucky you weren't killed and your family suing them for large money. Check with your local Mustang club where you can find a competent mechanic.
