Default Got my Dizzy Back from Tim

He does nice work. I tradded in my old POS to get a unit that had closer numbers to my match my car. without going crazy he found me a correct AL 70 unit. its about 9 months after my build date but its close enuf for me. very nicley detailed with numbers that you can acutally read.

the Car runs great. Revs much quicker than before. Throttle response is phenominal. Pulls all the way up the RPM range very smoothly.
I can get a nice chirp comming out of 1st if i goose it up and dont let off. It never did that b4 with the 2V set up.

and thats with the points that he installed. Im going to leave that in there for now since its running so well. I ditched the MSD over the winter so im back to basics and very happy with it

Distributor tuning is the most overlooked aspect of performance. I'm always amazed at the massive lengths people will go to in carb tuning, exotic spark plugs and huge wires, etc., but never have the distributor looked at. I have done a lot of these, and I've never seen a distributor that was in specification, not even fresh rebuilds, or untouched originals. A shop near here, Glazier/Nolan, does a lot of these. Even a stone-stock 289 2V, or 200 six cylinder will benefit from this.
