Call Don at Ohio Mustangs. He caters to the big body mustangs and is an expert on these cars. He also has a lot of good used original and NOS parts.

He has a web site but it is better to call him.

I think there is one in the 1971 Bond movie, "Diamonds are forever"? Chase scene?

The Mustangs used in Diamonds are forever were 1971 Mach 1's. Not sure how many exactly were used. But most were 351C powered cars. One or two of them were 429CJ Mach 1's and at least one (429CJ Mach 1) still exist today.

Link to the chase scene in the movie,

guys, i got my Boss running. The clutch linkage needs to be taken down because it is tight and knocks when I press the clutch. Also I am looking for some NOS or original parts. Ignition Coil, antenna, FL-1 Autolite oil filter, possibly a Ford hood, door lock pull up latch, and possibly a few more items. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks

There were three. Two were 302 cars, one of which was destroyed attempting the 2-wheel scene, and the last was a 429 car, used in the street scenes with all that tire spinning. The 429 car still exists, was found more or less accidentally.

The 2-wheel scene is Hollywood trivia. The car goes in on the right wheels, comes out on the left. The first try wrecked the car, and another driver did the second attempt. He could only do the left wheels.

I special ordered a '71 Mach 1 in January of '71 in the bright red and deluxe red interior with the console and special gauges. I always saw all the new Bond movies when they came out. I went to see Diamonds at the drive-in theater without any knowledge that the mach was in the movie. So there I was sitting in my Mach enjoying the movie when the movie Mach appears. Thought it was cool to be sitting in a matching car while viewing the movie. A picture of my Mach made it in the March 2006 issue of MM in the my rides article along with the '66 vert I traded in towards the Mach. I was in the pix of the '66 and my (now) wife was in the pix of the Mach. My wife and I just observed 48 years since when we started going steady in 8th grade.
