Default 1967 p/s questions and issues.

I just reinstaled the power sterring in my 1967 mustang it came from the factory with it but it was a 6cyl. I swaped it with a 302 v8 a few years back and removed the p/s and removed the ram with the conversion part from mustang unlimited. I bought a v8 pump and bracket and reinstaled the p/s I have no leaks and I bought new lines for it. And the ram had been rebuilt not to long ago but I never used it. Now the p/s works but only turning to the right. turning back to the left it does not seem to be working? Has anyone had this issue? If so how can I fix it?

Try jacking the front end up and start the car. If the car auto steers to the right, then there's probably dirt, sludge or build up in the control valve. You can try flushing the system, but it will probably need servicing.
