Default AOD fluid type??? (Stall converter calls for Type F)

Newly rebuilt AOD is ready to go in, along with a new B&M TORK MASTER 2400 AOD. The AOD needs Mercon fluid, but the B&M instructions call for Trick Shift fluid or type F into the converter and the transmission . I can't call them until Monday and I was hoping to get started today. Any advice? Thanks.

Use the dex/mercon iii, I use this even in my old c4 tranys. For the most part it all starts out as f type and then they add diff fiction additive to make the diff types of fluid. It's been debated that if you rebuild with new clutches and seals that f type is really the wrong fluid cause the clutches are now the newer material that was designed to use the newer fluid anyways.
