Confused Door pull strap brace goes where!?!?!?!?

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of converting the standard door panels on my '68 coupe to the deluxe panels. I have everything ready to go. New deluxe panels, deluxe armrests with plugs, pull straps, end cap kit and strap brace kit. I don't want to screw up a new custom door panel from TMI, it wasn't cheap. Can anyone let me know where I will drill/mount the pull strap brace. I understand how important they are when pulling the door shut so I don't bend the new panel.

Does anyone have pictures or a template I can see? I really want to get these done quickly, it is the last piece!

Thanks,

Steve.

22GT,

Had a question for you. If I wanted the wood insert to be brushed aluminum, can I remove it to wrap it in a high quality brushed aluminum vinyl. Any other options. I don't like the 67 door panels and I want it to match my dash kit.

Thanks,

Steve.

That would be interesting. It's heat-embossed in place.

Hmmm… It's fairly flat, maybe you couid just ignore it and apply your aluminum panel.
