Pretty cool to see the production line...I especially liked those skinny bias-ply tires!!

Do you think that guys palm gets a little sore after 8 hours of beating fenders on?

In the last part od the video when the guy hops in the Vert to drive it out of the factory it looks like the drivers side head light door is missing.

Love the shot of them dancing through the fenders with the white GT one among the others.
The chain noise in the music itself was actually a real chain, mixed in at the studio.

2 Things stand out to me in that vid...
* The total LACK of attention by the painters. Enamel WAS very forgiving because it stayed wet for a long time.
* It took 5 seconds to install a V-8 with transmission and exhaust manifold and all accessories attached.

The interesting part of the making of this well known commercial...it really created an uproar at the plant.....plant mgt & the assemblers had no say in the making of the commecial, just basically "It will be done".....but it was not suppose to interfer with any mustang production but they were suppose to be supportive and provide all assistance.....you can tell by the look on the faces, it was more of tolerance than being happy................

I liked how they just banged on the fender and that was it. Sheesh... when I take a door, trunk or fender off I take for friggin' ever when I reassemble... watch for no paint chips, is it aligned just exactly right for even gaps, etc.
It amazes me to no end how Ford just slammed these together and kicked them out the door (like every other mass manufacturer) and the cars wound up as good as they did.

The automatic lug nut tightener is set up for 5 lug wheels. I wonder what they did when a 6 cylinder car came down the line?
