Default Quarter Trim 69 Coupe HELP!

What holds the rear panels on? The ones with the arm rest in the rear. I have the grande deluxe interior. Mine were just hanging in by the window crank and seat.

Where can I find this hardware? I have looked all over NPD and CJ.

Thanks

take the rear seat cushions out (bottom and back).

On the panel, couple of screws at the bottom, one at the top back corner, then the panel must be lifted straight up and then out (the interior window felt is part of the panel).

I found the top rear screw, but don't see any holes for bottom screws. It has two small rectangular holes that are located on the inside of the panel vertically near where the rubber windlace would be at the door. Looks like maybe some clips would be there. These line up to holes on the body of the car as well. Like a push type clip? But no holes for screws at bottom.

Im looking for a picture to post.

Thanks

Looks like Renegade and I are the only ones with a 69 coupe. I cant even get a clear answer on the phone from the parts guys. Why is this so difficult? The blue circle takes a screw, what goes in the red circle

Thanks

Mike

Mike,

I have a 69 coupe and just put the interior back together. My rear quarter trim was held on by the upper rear screw, one in the lower front that is down by the sill plate, and where it hangs on the body from the top of the panel. When the window fuzzies are on, the window crank installed, both screws, the door jamb windlace, and the rear seat it is rock solid.

In my picture you can only see the top screw. I will look for a better photo.

Steve

Agreen68,

Is there a difference in my deluxe interior? My panels have no extra holes for screws except that one at the top rear.

Thanks

I think they are the same. When you look at the bottom front of the panel where it meets the sill plate there should be a small hole. The one on my car is actually hidden under the sill plate one everything is installed.

^^^^ Mine is the same way...

On mine the "clips" on the backside nothing attached to...The Delux covering may be different? You should have a hole down by where your tape is... of the (3) sets of coupe panels I have they all have a mounting hole there...

I need to qualify that it has been better than a year and a half since I put my interior in, so i may be fuzzy on the details.
