Sounds like a bad deal and a big mess to get into. They'll probably want most the money up front. If someone had $25000 to spend they could find a lot better deal than that.

$25,000 for basket case Mustang not including new parts or the engine & transmission. What do you think, another $12-15k for motor, tranny and bits plus another $8-12k for "parts" to restore the car?
Not to mention, it always ends up costing way more than you first estimate for any kind of job like this. So maybe another $10k-$15k of "paint, labor & materials".
Must be on meth. It's not a Shelby. No lower side scoops. Hood is not correct for a 67 Shelby.

moved to south jackson in 1968 and lived a block from oak forest elementary school. moved across the street from chastain jr high in 1970. in 1972 moved about a block from meadowbrook rd and ridgewood rd on manhassett dr. moved here to lost angeles in 1987. i was born in mccomb in 1957.
