Hood decals on 70 Mach1

I have a 70 Mach1, 351 4v, shaker hood. The 351 decal on the hood is black with white inlay. I've only seen one other car this way. All the rest I've seen are just black. Any one know the correct colour? Thanks

I've a 70 also and (when restoring) wanted to check out what was correct or not. As I learned there were several different variations of what the factory may install as well as what the dealers might do themselves (back then dealers were also adding options, stripes, etc.).

I finally decided, from talking with others, looking and endless pics, and reading anything I could find on the subject, that the stripes and colors of those stripes were in the eyes of the beholder. Granted the engine sizes (351, 428, etc) would be correct, the accents would vary. I looked at many and finally decided on what I liked best.
