What year is it from? It will physically bolt on, but the early transmissions aren't made (internally) to handle much power. So it may not last long.

I believe the 94+ are all the same internally between V6 and V8.

The internals are fine but the later '94 up ones had longer input shafts which I don't think will fit in an early bellhousing. It's possible to swap in the shorter '93 back V8 input shaft and then you can buy the spacer kit sold to mate a T5 to an old four/three speed bellhousing.

Rated at 265hp vs. 300-330 for the V8 application, with different gearing in 5th.
