Ordered a new Acapulco Blue Coupe in 67. Long gone to midwest rust. Now have a 67 white coupe. 289 4V C4 headers Comp Cam. Black interior & top. Runs strong!
Here's mine right after I shot some primer on it a few months ago. It's a 1970 Mach 1 H-Code, 3-speed manual with the original 351 Cleveland. It was a running, driving car when I bought it, but it was rough.
I stripped the car down and had it media blasted. I have since replaced the radiator support, battery apron, cowl, floor pans, B-pillar, trunk/seat divider, trunk pan, rear crossmember and taillight panel. I still have to replace a roof pillar and, as you can see, patch the lower right quarter panel.

If you can afford a new car you can afford a classic car.
The first pic shows how she looked when I first bought her and the second is what she is looking like rite now. Over the year with owning we did the efi swap from 92 mustang gt 5 speed, hydraulic clutch, and the body work which is still going on now.
