Default I need your ideas on 69 quarter ornaments

69 coupe quarter panel ornament pieces on the vents. Very brittle and expensive. Anyone used flexable molding or painted the "e" outlne?

Hmmm… The Originals might be fragile from age, but the repros, "regular" and "original tool" should be no problem. The cost is about $85 and $115, respectively.

Yea I have read that when it comes time to secure them the little studs break when you try and mash them. I had located some used ones but the seller couldnt get them off.

So don't mash them. Ford spin peened them to save money. Push nuts will work just fine, or even some JB Weld. To remove used ones, file or grind the back of the pins.

Mmm, didn't think about the little push nuts.

Thanks
