I was thinking of pulling my original quarter windows and replacing the frames on them because they have some pits on them. Does anyone know how to remove them from the frames? Then how to I reattach the new frames to my old window?

With the Daniel carpenter repro qtr window frames come instructions. Basically heat it with a propane torch. Heat the frame till the rubber gets soft then pull the glass out. Took about 3 min each window. Be sure to wear heavy gloves so you can touch the hot frame. I heated mine just enough to get it off.
The new frames come with the rubber gasket to hold the new glass in. You just use alcohol as a lubricant to slide everything together. I have done a few sets like this in the past.

UPDATE: I've got the June '06 Mustang Monthly issue and if you'd like the article with how to pics on removal of interior panels, the removal of the window brackets,etc...and then the article on frame removal. Then reverses all this and tells you in detail(with pics) how to adjust the brackets,etc,etc....
Just let me know if you'd like me to send it to you by email,or post it here if I can,,Glad to help.
