Confused Need help with 1969 lower door seal

I am at the last 2 things and the car is DONE!!

I have a new set of lower door seals. Not the weatherstripping, that is golden. My car must have had them at one time because there are holes drilled under the door. I know they just screw in without adhesive but I don't know the orientation.

Does the short lip screw to the door bottom or the wide lip. I can't figure out which way they mount and I don't want to poke holes in the wrong side.

Thanks so much.

Many were delivered without them, holes notwithstanding.

IIRC, if you look at the door, from the inside, the seal would block your view of the fasteners.

Not following. The profile looks like an upper case "L". S Rees go through the long or short side? How does it hang?

Ha! That's what you think!

Curious to see what you're talking about. Never seen anything besides the normal weather stripping.
