Default It's official, I now own a '66 Coupe A code 4sp with pony int

I just got my 1966 Mustang Cupe, A code 4sp Manual, with pony interior, with fresh paint and lots of new parts. But...it has New 15x7 Magnum 500's with Copper Cobra GT's 215/70x15, I need to swap the front for smaller ones. I like the wheels and look but the fronts are just too tall and wide for a '66

Congratulations, be sure to search this forum for wheels for a 66. The bigger wheels do look much better in my opinion. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

Why did my signature pic of my new '66 come out sideways?

Go to 215 60 15 in the front. Thats what I have on 15x7 Magnum 500's and it fits perfectly.

If you don't mind the question, what did you pay for it? And yes more pictures !!

Congrats and welcome.

I'll second the 215/60-15 on front although if I could find a 55 or 50 I would definitely look into them as well.

Well I believe I stole it, but then I added the new wheels and tires and several engine chrome upgrades before I picked it up. I saw it before it was painted and the seller had a lot of new parts, emblems, dash components, chrome pieces, etc which were all included in the give away pice that I paid for it.

I'm working thru the tire issue myself...I'm going with 215-60-15's

diadiffwidthdiff
Original tires convert to 195-75-R1425.52-7.68-
205-60-R1524.69-0.838.070.39
215-60-R1525.16-0.368.460.78
225-60-R1525.630.118.861.18
215-65-R1526.000.488.460.78
Current 205-70-15…too big. rub on front, back OK.26.300.788.070.39
