How long did your restoration take? Was it a partial or complete? What part did you tackle yourself...stripping it down, body, engine, paint, interior, etc? If you could pick just one vendor...who would you rate as #1 for your build? Lastly post your best before and after pic.

35 years and counting. The restoration is ever continuing.
the guy that did mine took about eight months. he finished about 90% of the car working a few hours each night and some weekends then i ran out of money and now i have to finish it myself, finally, four years later. I wish i would have done it myself but im not talented enough for all that needed done.
1 year....basically I rented a rack in a muffler shop (a frined) for 8 months for the mechanicals, pulled in every favor I ever did for anyone on their car.......after it was completed (paint, etc.), that took 1 year.....took about 10 more years to do the little detail items (like get a real new white steering wheel - made in Italy) and to make my own custom AC vents....
4 years and counting. I got a brand new 393W (never fired) full of high dollar parts, new Tremec TKO transmission and new Detroit True Trac with Moser 31 spline axles that came with the car along with a whole host of new speed parts. The car also came with tons of free rust and old accident damage covered with Bondo. I've done 100% of the work so far (except machine shop work). I've used mostly Laurel Mountain Mustang for parts due to cost, but I have used NPD a bit. I've been happy with both of them.
The day I brought it home,
Month after I bought it,
And then what it looks like below in my signature. A divorce last year has slowed me down for a while.

I have had the car for a little over 11 years but have only been actually working on it for the past 3 years.

3 mos in on the 65 coupe- it'll be a full resto(mod) have the engine bay done, new racknpinion/susp, new rear is on the way, need to do final align on the qtrs, then rewire, paint, install motor/tranny and hopefully by summer DRIVE
NPD is my #1, they are close, always have in stck what I need, and return policy is awesome
I did everything except for the paint and body work. Lots of late night and weekend work between the kid's soccer, baseball, basketball, and dance activities. It was a lot of time, but I realize the worth of it everytime I climb behind the wheel.

About 6 months of steady every day work, full work days on it after initial disassembly. It was worth it and I smile every time I drive it, but I wouldn't want to do it all again!

2nd pic is of me and the same Mustang - May '67, with original F70-14 Wide Ovals.
1 year, 3 months. I sanded, skim coated and sent it for paint. I'm in the middle of brakes and hopefully will get the interior installed and engine freshened by this summer.
Started 14 years ago, then stored it for 10 years while life got in the way. Back at it, gaining at least in a positive direction now and the outward flow of cash has slowed to drops rather than an open artery!
Most often doing it right requires much time; cash and even more patience.
