Wow! That looks like a great find and in really nice shape. Please keep us posted with pictures of the progress. Hopefully, you'll replace the front valance panel with an original style......just my opinion.

Wow, good thing you mailed that letter last week or you may have missed out. And no haha, I dont want a 240z. Just curious what are your plans with the car? Will you do all the work yourself? Going back original or restomod?
looks nice, solid and complete,...more pics when you get a chance

Yep, detailed photos to come as I can and progress permits. Stocker valance is in my bin of odd parts and going back on.
Timing and persistence was on my side. I guess 2013 WILL be a fantastic year!
Now, how to get the car featured on one of those restoration shows on Spike or Speed Channel and get it all fixed up for free/cheap?... as long as they don't want to cut it or make a Hooptie rollin' on 20".

Now that it has been finalized, what was the final sale price?

My Mustangs don't get chick names. They get horse names.
When Hugh Hefner dies, will anyone actually believe the ubiquitous eulogy statement: "Well, at least he's in a better place"
Hey, GT350R Klone, I would be guessing the paint/body would be more than $4k? I was thinking around $6K+ for a superior basecoat/clearcoat w/ body work? Can't really see the Mustang enough to evaluate the sheetmetal work, but even with minor to moderate I was thinking at the very least $6K....Just my thoughts.

What color GT stripes originally came with the springtime yellow!? black, blue, or white depending on interior?
My stripes are black. My Springtime Yellow doesn't look that vibrant. But it looks like the original paint. Interior trim on mine is Pony Edition Black. Headliner is perfect, back seat, passenger seat should only need some cleaning. Driver seat base has a split in the seam. Carpet ain't bad, just faded. Center console is just dirty. I haven't been able to put it on jackstands. It's on car skates in my driveway for a few more days. Patients please.

My painter has done an incredible job on two cars for me. $4k for base coat, clear coat, cut and buffed. The paint job is better than cars than I have seen for twice that amount.
