Default Old Blue

Ok Guys and Girls just purchased new toy, and i seem to be having a little trouble trying to decide is this an orginal color or perhaps a change. I have no trim tag on door, 1965 seems to be early, Do guys perhaps have a picture of the interior and perhaps is this caspian blue metallic?

Caspian Blue is one of my favorite early colors.

How about poping up the rear seat and see what color the overspray is there under it?

Absolutely loved caspian blue. My 64 1/2 vert had standard interior. Sadly the sig pic is the only pic I have of that little beauty!

Part of why I got the caspian blue was it was a coin flip in my mind. Caspian blue with blue top or dark ivy green with tan top.

Caspian blue was only a 64 1/2 color. What is your build date? Your info should be
on your title or registration. It could be guardsman blue, very close. Any
local paint shops hould have Ditzler or DuPont color info they could use to
tell you what it is. Any substantial overspray anywhere will indicate a repaint.

IIRC ( I factory ordered mine) caspian blue was a 65 color. The 64 1/2s were early 65s and they were available with 65 colors. Caspian blue was a one year only color, 65.

Looks kinda like Guards Blue to my eye. Is it a generator car? Guards was 64.5 only, Caspian 64.5 or 65.
