I was close to selling my 65 fastback on the classifieds. My now wife convinced me I should keep it. Now, I have 2 beautiful girls and 1 has caught the love for fixing old cars and admiring them. So now, I have someone who can help me get it back on the road.

Hopefully this is the year where progress is made!

Very cool! My 13 year old never caught the Mustang bug when it comes to working on them, but she is interested in driving one in a few years.

1. Your wife is awesome. Sounds a lot like mine who actually let me buy a second Mustang while she was pregnant with our first child. She totally doesn't mind me doing anything I am truly passionate about. She doesn't look at any of my hobbies with dollar signs.

2. Girls are the BEST! When we had our daughter who is now 15 months, I didn't know how I would relate to a girl, but I love spending time with her and she sure loves her daddy Can't wait to spend some time with her in the garage and/or doing whatever it is she will like doing!

Thats awesome! My wife and I just had a little girl, well shes 10 months now and about to start walking. I'm hoping she follows my footsteps and the hobby of cars. We shall see!

My wife is the exact opposite. Every time I would come into the house cursing like a sailor, she would remind me all I had to do was sell it and go down to the local dealership and pick out a new one of my choice. Any one I wanted, from a V6 to a Shelby.
I kept telling her they don't make new '66 Mustang GT's and I had to do it myself and quit being evil!
