Default Power steering fluid on exhaust man. Trouble??

Just curious. Dummy me forgot to make sure the power steering hose was on tight. Found out when I turned my wheel and it rained purple liquid. But it also got all over my manifold. Something to really worry about? I did restart my car and SMOKE was presents among it was burning it off. Of course I had my hose ready for action. Should I still be worry when I turn my car back on? Maybe buy some degreaser? I know my engine does need some cleaning too.

well a little simple green sure wouldn't hurt.....then just let the engine come up to operating temp, watch it it make sure there are no issues & you should be fine....no biggie really!

If you've fixed the leak, it should not be an issue. Just clean up the excess best you can and live with the smell for a while.

Cool. I know when you touch the manifolds from engine oil I don't get too nervous. But when you have a S*** load of power steering/tranny fluid spitting all over the place, I get nervous. Haha. I'll probably purple clean it. Usually pretty good taking grease off. Thanks Jeff and Dave. Just trying to gain confidence of no fires occurring. Hah.
