I started (and continue) to learn about my White Horse so that I could restore her to a nice driver condition and enjoy the fruits of my labor. In addition to that, I enjoy the stories and camaraderie of the forum! Where else can I find a group of people that understand it's worth it to put $10,000.00 more into a car than it'll be worth?fficeffice" />

Oh and good luck getting your wife to park outside...
That was a for instance. My wife parks her 2002 Escape alongside the 68 vert.

I came here to learn and pick up ideas. The world is jammed full of things I don't know. I like to hear from different perspectives on things too. Just because I've been doing something the same way for years doesn't mean it's the best way and someone won't clue me into a trying better way at any time. And once in while I might have a nugget of info of use to someone else.
I've learned so much from the members of this forum who are so generous in sharing their knowledge and expertise. I've actually been able to 'give back' a few times now, sharing some things I have learned through my own experiences.
My bride's Lexus would never lose out to my 68 'vert but my 2009 F150 sure did. The pickup now sits out in the cold and rain. I hope to get a carport for it soon. SWMBO has agreed to that.

To learn, share and read stories about the cars I love. Besides, you need something on the Internet other than porn to look at the other 23 hours of the day. LOL
Just started coming here now that I have a 65. Been on other forums for years. On one forum I post in off topic alot and they are my "buddies". I can see this place being my "buddies" as well. Soak up knowledge and offer some anytime I can.

To try to learn things about these cars, & to try to help someone else with some info if possible. That and I have been here since 2000 so I am a fixture here, & I am to old to change my ways.

how do you make a pic larger and get rid of the report image message?
Theres not much that can't be done on this board with a little help from those who have done it before,...and I'm really talking about welding, breaking down, media blasting, painting, etc,....not easy stuff like photobucket that an old man needs help with, thanks to all that offered help / assistance
