Default Why do you post on the vintage forum?

My last attempt got moved because I was on the wrong forum. This is not well defined like a poll would be. Just kinda wondering. Some examples would be.

o any tips on setting the points
o should wife park outside and my vintage Mustang inside?
o any tips on fixing hail damage on a vintage Stang
o can't get the hood adjusted
o to show progress on my Stang project
o to try to help another VMFr

Learn,...as much as possible from the knowledgeable and friendly family, so I don't have to ask the question myself when I get to that point.

I don't like Stang either. Just lazy in typing!!

I admit Rustang bugs me, it's so clever like the old Fix Or Repair Daily!

Slim,

For me it has always been to learn from the vast knowledge collected here, to be able to share the "wisdom" of my experience and of course to commiserate with and enjoy the camaraderie of those who share my passion for these cars.

BTW I always thought it was First On Race Day .

To help, and mostly these days it seems, to mooch a lot of knowledge.

(And, to point out flaws in others` cars when they insult/make fun of someone elses).

Originally I came here looking for knowledge and information when I started my Project 65. Now I come here just to see what is going on and what types of discussions are taking place.

I also provide information to others who ask questions dealing with subjects I have experienced first hand during my build.

To learn mainly and to help where I can. I love the classic scene and tapping into the knowledge that would possibly otherwise be lost if it was not for forums like this. By communicating we are keeping the historical stories of these cars alive. I just love that.

For me it's to learn, and to share where I can. Admittedly it's a little more of the first.

As a side note, regardless of whether or I can contribute, this is BY FAR the best board I've been on in terms of people wanting to help. Like Isreal said, it feels more like family...the kind of family you want to be around

I love this forum because I never tire of learning about my cars, and I try to help when I can.

It's clearly First On Race Day!

My answer is all of the above... learn, share my mistakes, help if possible (rare for me), co-miserate, co-celebrate... it's like being part of a Mustang club without forcing you all to suffer my looks. I just like reading about stuff I don't know about (I have a lot of reading to do)
